(Sorry, I reposted this, because I wanted this to show up in the tags)
Let’s go over this shall we?
Starting from the top right:
- “If you eat what you’ve always eaten, you’ll weigh what you’ve always weighed.” No; (I realize this is not a weight-loss blog, but I will not hesitate to educate about healthy eating) First off, love you body for what it is & all it can do. Secondly, in a healthy diet, (I, actually, learned this from Portia de Rossi’s book ‘Unbearable Lightness’, I highly recommend it for everybody) you do not tell your body what to eat, when to eat, or how much to eat. You listen to your body & let it tell you what it wants, when it wants, & how much it wants (i.e. If you want potatoes, eat it, if you want a salad, eat it). So~ eat whatever you want, but only when you’re hungry.
- “When you’re struggling, imagine the outfits you’ll wear.” You can wear what ever you want to right now.
- “It may not be easy, but it will be worth it.” Wrong; if you keep thinking like this it will never be enough. Learn to accept & love yourself & it will always be enough.
- “You never regret eating healthy, but you always regret eating unhealthy.” This, however is true. But not in the way it was meant. If you “diet” or binge eat you will regret it. But if you listen to your body, you will never regret it.
It makes me nearly cry every time I see someone so beautiful & they can’t see even one good thing about them. Why can’t they recognize their own beauty? I just want you to see what I see.
